“Sarah is a Surrealist. Her creations have a variety of eclectic and electric subjects, often obviously and sometimes subconsciously inspired by her five years as an expat, and a view into the world of spirits, ancient symbols, mysticism, and magical entities beyond and yet within our own. Her work often reflects stolen glimpses of her old residences in: Turkey, Bolivia, and India. She primarily paints in oil, often using the mischtechnik. She has been trained by Russian Visionary painter Oleg Korolev and Amanda Sage. She is influenced by the techniques of Rembrandt and Velasquez and is extensively studying the DuMond Palette.
